Celestial Elements
Celestial Elements are the fundamental building blocks of the entire Universe. These elements fall into two categories: tangible and intangible. Additionally, there are two special elements that are a combination of all others. While intangible elements are present in nearly every corner of the Universe, tangible elements are confined to the realms adjacent to their realm of origin.
Intangible
Time
The first and the most important element of the whole Universe. It's something you can't touch, but feel the effects of. There are only few beings that feel time differently, Greliger, The Miracle and the inhabitants of Daroid realm. Time flows like a river, not in the straight line, sometimes it can stop, but it always flows only in one direction. These time effects can be tampered with using the Time Shard. Although time-travel in the common sense is not possible, there are ways to manipulate the flow of time to achieve similar effect.
Space
The second intangible element to ever exist. Space is something we take for granted, we don't think about it existing because without it, nothing can exist. It is the fabric of the universe on which reality is written. This fabric can be moved around, stretched and even torn, but never destroyed or created without the use of Space Shard.
Gravity
A crucial element that holds everything together, it is a passive force exerted by all things on one another. Without this element, the universe would be filled with clouds of dust and particles endlessly colliding with one another. With the use of the Gravity Shard, this force can change and bend in limitless ways.
Energy
From the simple heat of fire to the energy of each atom, this element is an ever-present force of the universe. It can be either useful or destructive depending on its form. It is in constant balance and any manipulation with it using the Energy Shard can have severe consequences.
Life
This is a very fleeting element. It wants to be everywhere, it aims to survive, but everything in the universe is against it. Although simple cellular organisms might be “alive,” it is the element of life that drives those cells. For more complex organisms, it’s clearer, as being alive means the life element is a part of you. The Life Shard is crucial to the existence of every living thing, as one can create, give, and, unfortunately, even take life.
Void
It might seem strange to say, but the universe needs nothingness to exist. The void is just that-nothing. It exists everywhere there is emptiness: between subatomic particles, between all the Mirae worlds, between everything. The Void Shard can be then used to control this emptiness or make anything collapse into nothingness.
Tangible
Light
The first tangible element. It illuminated the universe, revealing its beauty to all who could behold it. Whether as photons or waves, light behaves in mysterious ways, existing solely for us to observe. By tampering with the Light Shard, one can create, destroy, or manipulate light itself — crafting intricate illusions or simply dimming a candlelight.
Earth
The most versatile elements of all as it is responsible for most solid materials — dirt, stone, marble, iron, and anything between, all came from the earth element. By tinkering with the Earth Shard, users can generate any material in any form, from a pile of gold to a marble castle.
Air
This element is invisible, but essential to the biosphere and overall climate inside the realms. Fiddling with the Air Shards can cause anything from mild winds to typhoons, or just used to blow the wind into the sails of a boat.
Fire
Raw flames of the fire element are, at a first glance, pure destructive force, but it was tamed by many civilizations and used for good. This element is quite unique as it directly links to both the energy and the light elements. By handling the Fire Shard users can create, control and maintain a fire. They can also manipulate the light and energy properties of it, making freezing dim blue fire or invisible raging inferno.
Water
This is the most misunderstood element. Although it's mainly responsible for water, it is also connected to many more liquids. Water Shard then allows users to create, manipulate and destroy water and other liquids.
Dark
For some it is just the absence of light, but dark is more than that. It chooses to hide from the light because the pure darkness is too unstable and unpredictable to be seen in the light. The Dark Shard grants the ability to manipulate and create the darkness. It has a weird connection to the life element.
Special
Magic
This element is the combination of all non-special elements. Connecting to the raw element of magic is almost impossible, but it is woven in most parts of the universe. Its presence can be subtle, like a rock formation seemingly defying the laws of gravity, or it can be very obvious when it's raining freezing purple lava. Attuning to a Magic Shard will grant users the ability to see and materialize any traces of all other elements.
Miracle
It is the only element that doesn't leave a trace. Furthermore, it can be seen only by one being The Miracle. It's believed that the power of this element is entirely limitless. The Miracle Shard is not a singular shard like the others. Upon its creation, it was shattered into an unknown number of pieces, all of which could be found inside the Mirae realm. Any single piece is powerful enough to focus any trace of magic.
